Gloria Diaz, Actress/Former Miss Universe
(When asked for three reasons for believing in the power of good luck)
I think I was lucky... one, when I won the pageant. Definitely I was not the prettiest, but I was the luckiest. I think when I made my first movie, I could hardly speak Tagalog and definitely I could not act but again it did well so I was again lucky; and then of course when I had my kids. I had my kids at 37 so I was lucky again.

Rita Avila, Award-winning Actress
We’ve been doing feng shui for three years already. Our Japanese-inspired house became Chinese already because of these Chinese stuff. I consider our life luckier, there’s more harmony and we also had some trips abroad.

Michelle Asence, Entrepreneur/Founder of Zen Zest
(When asked if she has always felt like a businessperson and if luck has been a part of it)
I’d like to believe that yes, feeling ko talaga dati mahilig na ako magbenta ng mga small things when I was in grade school, until high school and college. Yes, I think luck is part of it. Actually luck, hard work, and of course you have to be optimistic all the time.

Victoria Kovalenko, Russian Feng Shui Expert
I started feng shui about 10 years ago when I moved to London and it was a very difficult time for me... I didn’t know English, I had difficulty with the culture and the life here in UK and I needed to adjust to it.

Tim Yap, Eventologist/TV Host/Columnist
“The two most important words in the whole universe for me are “I am” because wherever you attach the words “I am” to, it reflects who you are.
If you say “I am lucky, you will be lucky. Even in my books, that’s the first thing I write, I am lucky, lucky, lucky. Marites Allen has become a dear friend and will always be there for me whenever I need some feng shui queries. I count on her to do my feng shui updates every year for my unit at Power Plant.”
